Old wood recycling

Every year, over 100 train cars of old wood chips leave our depot in Birsfelden for recycling. Our facility is regularly inspected by the cantonal Environmental Department (VeVA company number 276’600'158) and allows us to work with the following categories:

Old wood
Particle board, wood packaging, pallets, construction wood (formwork panels, scaffolding planks, timber beams, splinter material), wood from demolitions, renovations, reconstruction (beams, paneling, ceiling, stairs, doors, interior wood), furniture wood, kitchen furniture.

Problematic old wood
Treated old wood (fences, park benches, telephone poles, railroad ties, window frames, burning wood).
Old wood containing foreign substances (for example, plastic, stones, paper, insulation, installations, etc.)
